Information about me
I was born in 1981 in Hämeenlinna, but I have lived my entire life in Vantaa. I graduated as an automotive mechanic in 2004 and worked in the field for several years. The automotive industry has always been close to my heart, but in 2020, I developed back issues that forced me to reconsider my career path.
I decided to take on the challenge and transition to a completely new field. I began studying software development and graduated as a software developer in 2024. This change has allowed me to combine my technical mindset and problem-solving skills in a new, dynamic industry. I am passionate about software development and look forward to what the future holds in this career path.
I live in a detached house with my partner, two children, two cats, and a dog. Moving to a house has inspired me to discover a completely new interest: home automation solutions. I have developed and implemented my own systems using tools like Home Assistant and Shelly devices, and this area has offered me countless opportunities to utilize my creativity and technical expertise.
Car repair and tuning remain important hobbies for me, where I can leverage the skills I have gained over the years. Subaru cars, in particular, hold a special place in my heart, and I have spent significant time working on them, whether it’s maintenance, tuning, or enhancing their performance. Additionally, I enjoy tinkering with computers, especially hardware, including building, upgrading, and optimizing their performance.
In my free time, I enjoy playing computer games, especially car games and first-person shooter (FPS) war games. Pubg is one of my favorite. Gaming allows me to unwind and combine my interests in vehicles and strategy in a fun, interactive way.
Unfortunately, I am currently laid off, but I hope to find a job either in junior software development, IT support, or in the automotive industry.
